Perfectly reasonable and rational response by Robert Spencer to this ridiculous 'Islam is Peace' campaign taking place in the UK. Pay attention to what the muslim is saying towards the middle of this video, it just might open your eyes and ears a little bit.
I find this campaign and its stated aims highly offensive and extremely arrogant. Eradicate Islamophobia? They'd be better off trying to eradicate kuffarphobia in Islamic states as the problem is proveably greater, and thousands upon thousands of people have been and are being slaughtered, tortured, and mutilated simply because they are not muslims. Tell me again, what exactly have muslims to fear in this country? And what do non-muslims have to fear in Islamic countries? Maybe the muslims in the UK should just shut up being cry babies and grow a set of bollocks for a change. As a male single-parent, I experienced far more prejudice for simply being a male single-parent than a UK muslim will probably experience in their entire lifetime in the UK.
If Jihad is actually what they claim it to be i.e. the struggle to improve the quality of life in society and to struggle against injustice, oppression, and tyranny, then tell me why it is that Islamic countries are some of the most backward, racist, and oppressive countries in the world with non-muslims in those countries treated as second and third class citizens, whereas the actual struggle to improve peoples quality of life, and the fight against oppression and tyranny has nearly always been inspired within Western societies and culture?
What about point number 2? To create dialogue and ensure that their concerns about racism and islamophobia are in the mainstream media? People who follow this belief system are a tiny tiny minority within the UK, and yet they seek to have their demands met before anyone else? Never heard of equality? Never heard of '...when in Rome...'? Never heard of learning to integrate within society as people of the Jewish faith, Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists all have done and quite successfully as well...? What the hell is it with this attitude of demanding that we all change our ways to suit the muslims all the time?
Not one of their points is about them integrating with all the other members of society, the whole thing is simply about making us change to accomodate the muslims and what they want. Disgraceful, supremacist crap.
Many people like to claim that the Americans are responsible for the deaths of thousands of Iraqis, but again it's all about numbers and which way certain elements wish people to view them. People who look into these claims in a little more detail however can show you otherwise:

You need to remember that when you read and hear these criticisms of Islam you are not listening to the ravings of madmen hellbent on other peoples destruction or Internet fame and fortune. You are reading the words of people who have spent a great deal of time studying and learning about Islam in detail, and are more than qualified to share their views and knowledge on this subject.
